Chase & Taylor, Inc., is a family-owned real estate investment company with its principal office in Redding, California. It began operations in 1971 in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been involved in the brokerage, acquisition, development and management of apartments, manufactured housing communities and single family home subdivisions. During the 1980’s, its principal office was located in Atlanta, Georgia, from where it directed real estate investment, brokerage and property management endeavors in several states in the Southeast. Since 1991, Chase & Taylor, Inc. has been involved in several housing subdivisions in central and northern

California. In 1994, it assumed Developer responsibilities at Shasta Hills Estates, a 200-home subdivision located on Churn Creek Road in Redding. In addition, it has developed numerous custom homes and small subdivisions in the Redding area. Jordan Taylor is the President and majority stockholder in the company and has lived in Redding since 1993 with his wife and son.

HOMEBUILDER: John Hucke

John has lived most of his life in the Redding area and worked his way up through the construction trades over the last 30 years. He has been a construction superintendent on several housing subdivisions and has been a licensed General Contractor since 1989. He was formerly a principal in Paul Risk & John Hucke Construction, building motels, commercial buildings and custom homes in the Shasta County/Mt. Shasta/Burney area. In the past five years, John has supervised construction on over 120 homes in the Shasta Hills Estates subdivision as well as numerous custom homes.
